Volunteer Opportunities

Would you like to guide a boat on one of our rafting trips? How about guiding our participants on a snowshoe or rock climbing trip in the Wasatch Mountains? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers of all ages and abilities to help with our outdoor adventures. We provide initial as well as on-going training, so that you can progress to the level of responsibility and commitment that is best for you.

Rock On! Volunteer Opportunities

Our Rock On! Program is an 8-week indoor rock climbing mentorship program for children and young adults with disabilities.  We also welcome participants’ siblings to join the program, so that siblings can recreate together. Salt Lake Volunteer Opportunities

Our Salt Lake program offers a variety of options for volunteers for all experience levels: paddling (canoeing and stand up paddle boarding), rock climbing and cross country skiing. Our Salt Lake area trips are typically 4-6 hours in length.

Moab Volunteer Opportunities

Our Moab program offers options for volunteers for all experience levels. Below is a quick description of roles and responsibilities.

River Guide - Rows a boat or captains a paddle boat, and provides nature interpretation and fun to participants.

Crew - Helps load and unload gear, sets up camp, cooks meals, and generally helps the guides make the trip smooth and fun for the participants.
