SPLORE
is a leader in accessible, affordable outdoor recreation.
For over 30 years, SPLORE has been a leader and innovator
in providing accessible outdoor adventures for groups
and individuals with disabilities and special needs. Using
the magnificent Utah wilderness as a backdrop, over 30,000
clients have participated in our programs. These experiences
act as a catalyst, allowing each of our program participants
to move towards greater independence, well being and self
esteem. |
| SPLORE's
primary programs include canoeing, rock climbing, and
river rafting during the summer season, and cross-country
skiing/snowshoeing, over night yurt trips, and dog-sledding
trips during the winter season, plus our newest program,
the Monday Night Connection, gives individuals and groups
the opportunity to get together most Monday evenings all
year long on a more informal basis for a variety of local
activities, such as movies and popcorn at the SPLORE office,
trips to Antelope Island, cookouts in the park, arts &
crafts, pot luck dinners, and various local cultural events.
All Monday Night Connection activities are free or very
low cost. |
