Financial Aid Information

One of our goals is to serve everyone wishing to participate on a trip regardless of their financial situation. To that end, we receive donations and grants each year for the specific purpose of providing financial aid for participants who demonstrate a need. Through generous donors and foundations, we are able to provide over $100,000 in financial aid each year. Splore’s Financial Aid Goals:

1. To remove financial barriers for those who need assistance affording our adventures and experiencing the outdoors.
2. To prioritize people with disabilities
3. To help as many people as possible to experience the outdoors for the first time.

Financial Aid Awards are based on the following:

• Availability of funds
• Assistance amount being requested
• Financial need

What to expect:

1. Requests will be reviewed by our Financial Aid Committee
2. Splore determines amount of financial aid based on availability of funds, amount requested, and financial qualifications (federal poverty guidelines)
3. Splore notifies the applicant of amount approved and books their trip(s)
